Tommy is just awesome. We've had this stallion in RL since he was a yearling, and he's always been the biggest sweetheart you could meet. His attitude is amazing. He's one of the most calm, smart, level headed horses I've ever met, and he's got the most wonderful demeaner you could imagine. This has allowed us to use him for numerous events, without him getting to 'hot'. He's got the conformation for every event we show him in (barrels, poles, heeling, breakaway), cow from his sire (roping), and the versility and mind to handle it all. He's got a tremendous amount of speed (you actually wouldn't believe it to ride him, he's also one of the laziest horses on the farm.) His agility is just - too much! On more than one occasion he's turned an end pole that threw me out of the saddle. It's just amazing to watch him go from a dead run - not even attempt to slow down - and just spin around and keep going. Tommy is also a glutton for attention, and if you find a certain spot on his back and get to scratchin', he'll get his neck stuck out so far and get so into it he almost forgets to keep standing. As for riding, he's got the speed, and agility, you just have to get it out of him! He's generally lazy, which is more than evident in his lope, until you get him into an arena where he sees a set of poles or barrels - it's just amazing the sudden change in him. He's also showing all of his traits in his foals. They've got mind, versitility, and a general 'puppy dog like' quality (including the eyes!!), that make people just fall in love with his foals! It's been said of all their owners that they're easy to handle, easy to train, and one of the favs around the barn for their want of attention! Tommy's bloodlines are also somethine that we're proud of. Tommy is one of the last sons of the legendary 'The Ole Man', making him one of the youngest 'Three Bars (TB)' grandson's standing, PLUS - he's the only black The Ole Man son standing. His bottom side also includes Top Moon, one of the most legendary speed sires in the Quarter Horse Industry.
